Gah, I really need 38s. Though I remain slightly tempted...
My df are a 37 and I wish I had gone for a 38 as I would prefer to have a small insole in them as I slide a bit in mine with thinner socks but they are just that little bit too small for thicker socks.

I’m really tempted by the duck boots! Are they waterproof?
No, they have a crepe sole and they aren’t gore-tex or anything like that. I haven’t worn them a huge amount anyway but I would say they’re no more and no less waterproof than a decent pair of docs but they are very slippy in the wet because they don’t have much grip on the sole.

I already have 39s and all the insoles in the world haven’t made them work, sadly!

Hey mama, I'm sorry but I'll have to pass now - just had a shocker of an elec/gas bill to the tune of £500 more than usual, which I need to pay upfront so I can change supplier. So sorry x

Oh no! No worries at all. We’re in exactly the same boat here but I’m holding out with current supplier so I don’t have to pay it off yet o_O

I would do that but I think the current supplier will bankrupt me before I get that far :( Seriously annoyed about it. If your boots are still around when I have the cash, I'd love them, but appreciate they may be snapped up, so I'll step down for now xx
